Puja and Festivals

Bengali Puja Catering in Bengaluru

Puja bhog has one rule that cannot be bent, so we stopped relying on anyone remembering it.

No onion, no garlic, no fish, no meat, no egg. In our menu system that is not a note on an order form, it is a rule applied when the menu is built. A bhog menu physically cannot be assembled with a dish that breaks it.

Beyond the pandal, the Bengali year has meals of its own. Poila Boishakh, Bijoya, Jamai Shashthi, Saraswati Puja. Those are built to the festival rather than to a generic celebration template, because each one is eaten for a different reason.

Niramish, enforced rather than promised

Every dish in our kitchen list is tagged for what it contains before it is ever offered. When an event is marked as bhog, the ineligible dishes are removed from the pool, not filtered out at the end. It is the difference between a caterer telling you the food is niramish and a system that could not have produced anything else.

  • No onion, no garlic, no fish, no meat, no egg, applied at the point the menu is built
  • Khichuri, labra and the bhog sequence in the order the pandal expects
  • Dish choices that survive being cooked in volume without being reduced
  • Separate festival menus where the occasion is a celebration rather than a bhog

Good to know

How many people can you cook bhog for?
The Durga Puja packages above are shaped from fifty guests upward and scale into the high hundreds. Larger pandal numbers are quoted on the enquiry.
Can the same event have a non-vegetarian evening menu?
Yes, and they are kept as two separate menus rather than one list with exceptions. Say so in the enquiry and both are quoted.
Do you cater at the pandal itself?
Delivery, buffet, table service and full end-to-end are all available. Which one fits depends on the space, so tell us where the food has to land.
