Bengali Wedding Catering in Bengaluru
A Bengali wedding is not one meal. It is a run of them, each with its own order, and the family notices when the order is wrong.
We cater the whole sequence rather than a single sitting: the pre-wedding aiburo bhaat, the ceremony day itself, the bou bhaat that follows, and the reception, which is a different meal again. Each function gets its own menu, because each one is eaten by a different room in a different mood.
The wedding table leads with fish and meat, and the sweet course is expected to be generous rather than polite. Our wedding menus are built to that shape before anyone starts adjusting them, so you are editing a menu that is already correct rather than assembling one from scratch.
What a wedding menu has to carry
The rules are not ours. A wedding spread opens bitter and closes sweet, a fish course is not optional, and the rice has to hold a crowd that arrives in waves. The reception runs the other way: weighted to starters and counters rather than a long seated meal.
- A fish course, prepared as a fish course and not folded into a curry
- A meat main with enough body to anchor the plate
- Rice and breads portioned for guests who sit down in shifts
- A sweet course that does not run out before the last table is served
Available as delivery only, buffet, setting service, or full event, end to end. What each one includes.
Good to know
- Can you cater more than one function?
- Yes, and it is the usual case. Put every date into one enquiry and each function is quoted with its own menu rather than the same spread repeated.
- Is there a minimum guest count?
- Seven guests is the floor for any BongKnot booking. The wedding packages above are shaped for larger numbers, but a small ceremony is built from the same approved kitchen list.
- Can the whole menu be vegetarian?
- Yes. Every course has a vegetarian route, and a fully niramish menu with no onion or garlic can be built for the ceremonial functions that ask for one.
Tell us about your event
Send us the date, the guest count and the kind of event. You will get a menu and a quotation built for it, not a price list.
